Support DMVAC's charities in 2025

Support our two charities

DMVAC is pleased to announce that the club has chosen to support two local charities this year and will donate 20% of the Dorking 10s profits to each. They are: The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Action for Carers Surrey.

We are looking forward to another great Dorking Tens event and we hope you will help us support our chosen charities by entering and running one of these races and at the same time making your own personal donation to one or both of them.

You can make your donation via this link on JustGiving:

Thank you so much from DMVAC for your support of the event and of our chosen charities. Good racing!

About the charities:

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity (Registered Charity No. 109519)

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity funds the development of live-saving cancer treatments at The Royal Marsden, for patients in Sutton, Surrey, and Chelsea, across the UK and around the world.

Funding helps ensure the hospital’s nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments which are used in the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the best patient environments, it never stops looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

This includes information on rights and benefits, guidance on moving and handling (including back care), advocacy, and other vital practical and emotional help.

It has drop-in Carer Hubs at 15 locations across Surrey, as well as support groups and well-being events, and provides a wide range of free resources. It has specialist support available for young carers (aged 5-17) and staff working in Surrey’s hospitals. It also supports and trains health, social and education professionals.
